The spacious room featured a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, and a cozy sitting area - all essential comforts for my solo travels. The shared kitchen, surrounded by lush banana and citrus trees, offered a delightful open-air dining experience and ample cookware. While the service was warm and prompt, ideally, room allocation should be more straightforward to avoid unnecessary negotiations. The outdoor terrace, overlooking the ocean, made for a serene spot to unwind. Though parking is accessible, potential guests should be mindful of narrow streets around the property. Apart Monumental, with its well-rounded amenities, presents excellent value for a rejuvenating getaway in Madeira, particularly when considering nearby dining options and convenient access to rental car services.
